More about Thrine Sofie
You might have thought of coming to counselling for a while or it may be a recent idea. In either case, I am here to listen and help make sense of your experiences. No problem is too big or small. I will offer plenty of space to process your thoughts and feelings and draw upon your strengths in able to move forward.
I have a great passion for what I do and believe that therapy can be a powerful tool to understand what has happened to us and ease some of the recurrent worries that we carry with us. It can also be a relief to share troubles with a person who is not family or a friend.
A bit more about me:
My experience lies in working with both young people and adults who have experienced a variety of challenges. These include family conflict and expectations, bereavement and loss, feeling overwhelmed or burned out and dealing with traumatic events that were out of their control.
I am an experienced BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist working from an integrative stance. This means that I draw on elements from different psychological approaches (Person-centred therapy, Attachment, and CBT) to create a personalised approach that suits your needs. I look forward to meeting you.
