More about Rachael
I am continuing to offer Zoom and Skype sessions during COVID-19 and I find that they work just as effectively as face to face.
Are you are struggling with lockdown, feeling anxious or isolated or perhaps feeling the pressure in your relationship? Struggling with managing childcare, working from home and trying to juggle it all?
My aim for every client is that you move away from what you don’t want and towards what you do in the easiest and quickest way.
I have spent several thousand of hours working with clients who have low mood and/or anxiety and can confidently say, irrespective of how long you may have had this for, that you can change it if you have the seeds of an open mind and stick with the process of therapy.
Our initial session will be outcome-focused to understand very specifically what's going on and what you want to change and then I tailor my approach to your unique needs, drawing from different models of psychotherapy where applicable.
I will give you stuff to do in between sessions if I think it will get you to where you want to be faster.
My clients regularly feedback that they enjoy the process of learning about themselves and making long lasting changes that they perhaps didn’t think were possible in the beginning; my colleagues say that they hear a lot of laughter from my room.
The hardest thing is to make the first contact to get help and then we can work together to change what you want - it might be a lot easier that you think.
Rachael offers video calls via Skype
. Sessions will begin by phone, and you will then be offered the choice to switch to a video call.
